Pass to fill this gap because these deposits can only fill the light, low value, half of the Lanthanide series. The heavy half of the Lanthanide series must come from Monazite and Xenotime deposits. Monazite deposits typically contain Thorium<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><div class=\"w-separator size_medium\"><\/div><div class=\"g-cols wpb_row via_grid cols_1 laptops-cols_inherit tablets-cols_inherit mobiles-cols_1 valign_top type_default stacking_default\" style=\"--gap:3rem;\"><div class=\"wpb_column vc_column_container\"><div class=\"vc_column-inner\"><div class=\"wpb_text_column\"><div class=\"wpb_wrapper\"><p class=\"moto-text_normal\">so \u2018western\u2019 mining companies dump this material into tailings lakes to avoid regulatory risks currently associated with treatment \/ handling of Thorium.<\/p>\n<p class=\"moto-text_normal\">Thorium, a natural byproduct from rare earth extraction, offers a safe, clean, carbon free alternative to solid fuel Light Water Reactors (LWRs).
